Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GravaStar Mercury M2 mouse, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the mouse regularly. For the hollowed-out areas, a can of compressed air can help remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Care: For prolonged battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the battery indicator is low.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cable Care: Handle the USB Paracord Cable gently. Avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal wires.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GravaStar Mercury M2 mouse, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is charged. Connect it via the USB Paracord Cable.
    • Check the connectivity mode switch on the bottom of the mouse (2.4G, Bluetooth, Wired).
    • For 2.4G wireless, ensure the 1K Receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is properly paired. Try re-pairing the mouse.
    • Restart your computer/device.
  • Lag or Disconnection:
    • Ensure the mouse is within range of the receiver or Bluetooth device.
    • Minimize interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless peripherals).
    • Ensure the mouse is fully charged.
    • Update the mouse firmware via the GravaStar M2 software.
  • RGB lights not working:
    • Check the lighting settings in the GravaStar M2 software.
