2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly
This Nexgrill portable gas grill comes largely pre-assembled, requiring minimal setup before first use.
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the grill.
- Unfold the legs and ensure they are securely locked into place, providing a stable base for the grill.
- Place the grill on a flat, stable, non-combustible surface outdoors, away from any flammable materials or structures.
4.2 Propane Tank Connection
The grill is designed for use with liquid propane (LP). It is compatible with small propane tanks and can also be connected to larger 20lb propane tanks using an appropriate adapter hose (sold separately).
- Ensure the grill's control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
- Connect the grill's gas hose to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not use tools.
- Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Open the propane tank valve slowly. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the valve immediately and tighten connections. Repeat until no bubbles appear. If leaks persist, do not use the grill.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Burn-Off
Before cooking food for the first time, operate the grill for 15 minutes on high heat with the lid closed. This will burn off any manufacturing oils and residues.
5.2 Lighting the Grill
- Ensure the propane tank is connected and the valve is open.
- Open the grill lid.
- Push and turn one of the control knobs to the HIGH position.
- You should hear a click as the igniter sparks. The burner should light.
- If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the lighting procedure.
- Once one burner is lit, you can light the second burner by pushing and turning its control knob to the HIGH position.
5.3 Preheating and Cooking
Close the lid and allow the grill to preheat for 5-10 minutes on high heat. Once preheated, adjust the control knobs to achieve your desired cooking temperature. The grill offers 251 square inches of cooking space, perfect for a variety of foods.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
