Installation
The HUANUO HNCM9 Monitor Arm offers two installation methods: Clamp Mount and Grommet Mount. Choose the method best suited for your desk.
1. Clamp Mount Installation
This method attaches the arm to the edge of your desk without drilling holes.
- Attach the C-clamp base to the bottom of the pole.
- Position the pole assembly at the desired location on your desk edge.
- Tighten the C-clamp screw until the arm is securely fastened to the desk. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
2. Grommet Mount Installation
This method provides a more secure fixation by utilizing an existing or newly drilled hole in your desk.
- If your desk does not have a grommet hole, drill a hole of appropriate diameter (refer to your product manual for exact size, typically 10-70mm) at the desired location.
- Assemble the grommet base components with the pole.
- Insert the pole assembly through the grommet hole.
- Secure the base from underneath the desk using the provided bolt and plate, tightening until firm.
3. Attaching the Monitor
- Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws.
- Slide the monitor (with VESA plate attached) onto the arm's mounting head.
- Secure the monitor to the arm using the locking mechanism or screws as indicated in the specific product diagram.

Adjustments and Operation

Height Adjustment
The monitor arm features a long pole of approximately 99cm, allowing for significant height adjustment. This enables comfortable viewing positions for both sitting and standing work. To adjust the height, loosen the clamp on the pole, slide the arm to the desired height, and then re-tighten the clamp securely.
Angle and Direction Adjustment
- Tilt: The screen can be tilted approximately 90° up and 90° down.
- Swivel: The screen can swivel approximately 180° (90° left and 90° right).
- Rotation: The monitor can be rotated 360° for portrait or landscape orientation.
- Arm Joints: The second joint allows 360° rotation, and the first joint can be adjusted by 115°.
- Forward/Backward Movement: The arm can be moved forward to bring the screen closer or pushed back against the wall to maximize desk space.
