Setup

Follow these steps to pair your CHZHVAN Key Finder with your Apple device:

1. Ensure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) has Bluetooth enabled and the Find My app is installed.
2. Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
3. Navigate to the Items tab.
4. Tap the + icon and select Add Other Supported Item.
5. Press and hold the button on your CHZHVAN Key Finder for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a beep, indicating it's in pairing mode. For a reset, long press the button for the fifth time.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts in the Find My app to complete the pairing process.

Operating Instructions

Finding Nearby

When your CHZHVAN Key Finder is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device, you can make it emit a sound to help you locate it.

• Open the Find My app.
• Select your CHZHVAN Key Finder from the Items tab.
• Tap Play Sound. The tracker will emit a 'di di di' sound.
• Alternatively, you can ask Siri: "Hey Siri, find my [item name]" (e.g., "Hey Siri, find my keys").

Finding Far Away

If your CHZHVAN Key Finder is outside of Bluetooth range, the Find My network can still help you locate it.

• Open the Find My app.
• Select your CHZHVAN Key Finder from the Items tab.
• The app will display its most recent location on a map, based on the last time it was detected by any device in the Apple Find My network.

Left Behind Remind

To receive alerts when you leave your item behind:

• In the Find My app, select your CHZHVAN Key Finder.
• Scroll down and enable the Notify When Left Behind option.
• You will receive a notification on your Apple device if the tracker disconnects from its Bluetooth connection, reminding you to retrieve your item.

Lost Mode

If your item is truly lost, you can enable Lost Mode:

• In the Find My app, select your CHZHVAN Key Finder.
• Scroll down and enable Lost Mode.
• You can enter a phone number or email address where you can be contacted.
• If someone finds your item, they can use their own Apple device to scan the tracker and view your contact information to return it.

Share with Friends and Family (iOS 17+)

With iOS 17 or later, you can share the location of your CHZHVAN Key Finder with others:

• Ensure your iOS device is updated to iOS 17 or a newer version.
• In the Find My app, select your CHZHVAN Key Finder.
• Look for the option to Share This Item and follow the prompts to invite family members or friends.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The CHZHVAN Key Finder uses a replaceable CR2032 Lithium Metal battery, which typically lasts up to one year.

1. Locate the small groove or opening on the side of the key finder.
2. Carefully open the casing using a small tool (e.g., a coin or flat-head screwdriver).
3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
5. Close the casing securely, ensuring it clicks into place to maintain water resistance.

Water Resistance

The CHZHVAN Key Finder is designed with water resistance, making it suitable for use in light rain or splashes. However, it is not intended for submersion in water. Ensure the casing is properly sealed after battery replacement to maintain its water-resistant properties.
