  1. Battery Cover: Located at the top, protects the battery compartment.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

The HT61 requires two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

  1. Locate the battery cover at the top of the device (refer to Image 1).
  2. Twist the battery cover counter-clockwise to remove it.
  3. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery cover by twisting it clockwise until secure.

6.3 Gas Detection

Once powered on and warmed up, move the sensor head slowly around the area where a gas leak is suspected. The device will provide both audible and visual alerts upon detection.

6.4 Low Voltage Prompt

When the battery voltage drops below the operating threshold, the display screen will show a low battery icon (typically a flashing battery symbol). Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continued accurate operation.

6.5 Auto Power Off

The device is equipped with an auto power-off function. If there is no operation or measurement signal for approximately 10 minutes, the device will automatically shut down to conserve battery life.
