3. Product Overview

The CofunKool NP-6L Battery Charger is designed to charge CAS. NP-6L 3.7V 700mAh Li-ion polymer batteries, commonly used in digital video cameras such as DC 311, 302, 402, 403, and 406. The compact design makes it ideal for travel and everyday use.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your battery charger:

1. Connect the USB Cable: Insert the small end of the provided USB cable into the charging port on the NP-6L charger.
2. Connect to Power Source: Plug the larger USB end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., a computer USB port, a USB wall adapter, or a power bank). The power source should provide DC 5V-1A for optimal charging.

5. Operating Instructions

Charging the Battery:

1. Ensure the charger is connected to a power source as described in the Setup section.
2. Carefully insert the NP-6L battery into the charging slot of the charger, ensuring the metal contacts on the battery align with the pins inside the charger. The battery should fit snugly.
3. Observe the LED indicator light on the charger.

LED Indicator Guide:

• Red Light: Indicates the battery is currently charging.
• Green Light: Indicates the battery is fully charged.

Once the indicator light turns green, the battery is fully charged and ready for use. Disconnect the charger from the power source and remove the battery.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the charger and battery. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the charger and battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
• Avoid physical shock: Do not drop or subject the charger or battery to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

Battery Not Charging:

• Check connections: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.
• Verify power source: Try a different USB port or wall adapter to ensure the power source is functional.
• Reinsert battery: Remove and reinsert the battery into the charger, ensuring proper alignment of contacts.
• Inspect battery: Check the battery for any visible damage or corrosion on the contacts.

Indicator Light Not Working:

• Ensure the charger is receiving power and the battery is correctly inserted.
• If the battery is already fully charged, the light will be green. If it's not charging, it might indicate an issue with the charger, battery, or power source.
