Setup
1. Charge the Device
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cord to the charging port on the device.
- Plug the other end of the USB-C cord into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
- The LED indicator light will illuminate during charging. Allow approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
- A full charge provides up to 4.5 hours of continuous use.
2. Install the Repellent Cartridge
- Ensure the device is turned off.
- Locate the cartridge slot at the bottom of the device.
- Remove the cap from the repellent cartridge.
- Insert the cartridge into the slot and twist it clockwise until it is securely in place.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the device, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the blue LED indicator light illuminates.
- To turn off the device, press and hold the power button again until the LED indicator light turns off.
2. Placement for Optimal Coverage
- For best results, activate the device approximately 10 minutes before entering the area you wish to protect.
- Place the device on a flat surface or hang it using the integrated carabiner clip in the center of your desired 15-foot protection zone.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the vapor dispersion from the top vents of the device.
- Avoid placing the device directly in strong winds, as this may reduce the effectiveness of the repellent zone.
Maintenance
Cartridge Replacement
- Each repellent cartridge provides up to 60 hours of mosquito deterrence.
- When the cartridge is empty or its effectiveness diminishes, replace it with a new PIC 60 Hour Repellent Refill.
- To replace, turn off the device, twist the old cartridge counter-clockwise to remove, and insert a new cartridge by twisting clockwise until secure.
Cleaning
- Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not submerge the device in water or any other liquid.
