1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your LEXiBOOK Warner Harry Potter Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Model BT018HP. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speaker to water or excessive moisture. This product is not waterproof.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or heat sources.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Keep the speaker away from children, especially small parts that could be a choking hazard.
  • Use only the provided charging cable or a certified equivalent.
  • Do not operate the speaker at excessively high volumes for prolonged periods to prevent hearing damage.

3.3 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the micro-USB end of the provided charging cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the speaker (refer to Figure 2). Connect the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the speaker, slide the ON/OFF switch located on the back panel to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled audio device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'BT018HP' from the list of devices.
  4. Once successfully paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.

4.3 USB and Micro SD/TF Card Playback

The speaker supports audio playback from USB drives and micro SD/TF cards (up to 64GB).

  1. Insert a USB drive into the USB port or a micro SD/TF card into its designated slot on the back of the speaker (refer to Figure 2).
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio files.
  3. Use the control buttons on the top of the speaker to manage playback (see Section 4.5).

4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

The TWS function allows you to synchronize two BT018HP speakers for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one of the speakers, press and hold the 'M' (Mode) button until you hear a confirmation tone, indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
  4. Once paired, connect your Bluetooth device to one of the speakers as described in Section 4.2. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

4.5 Control Buttons

The speaker features intuitive control buttons on the top panel:

  • M (Mode) Button: Short press to switch between Bluetooth, USB, and SD card modes. Long press for TWS pairing (see Section 4.4).
  • - (Volume Down / Previous Track): Short press to decrease volume. Long press to go to the previous track.
  • + (Volume Up / Next Track): Short press to increase volume. Long press to go to the next track.
  • ▶ (Play/Pause): Short press to play or pause audio.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Speaker does not turn on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the charging cable.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED). Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (up to 10 meters). Try unpairing and re-pairing.
No sound.Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is correctly paired or the USB/SD card is properly inserted.
USB/SD card not recognized.Ensure the USB drive or SD card is formatted correctly and contains compatible audio files. Try re-inserting the card/drive.
TWS pairing fails.Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
