3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, please verify that all components are included in your package:

• 3 x Wireless Doorbell Transmitters (Push Buttons)
• 2 x Plug-in Smart Doorbell Receivers
• Double-sided Mounting Tape
• Anchors and Screws
• A23 Battery (pre-installed in transmitters)

3.2 Installation Methods

The doorbell transmitter can be installed using either double-sided tape or screws.

1. Method 1: Using Double-sided Tape
   • a. Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust and moisture.
   • b. Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided tape and apply it firmly to the back of the transmitter.
   • c. Peel off the other side of the protective film and press the transmitter firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
2. Method 2: Using Screws and Wall Plugs
   • a. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall using the transmitter as a template.
   • b. Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs.
   • c. Align the transmitter with the holes and secure it with the provided screws.

For the receivers, simply plug them into any standard electrical outlet in your desired location within the wireless range.

3.3 Pairing Transmitters with Receivers

Your doorbell kit comes pre-paired. However, if you need to re-pair or add new transmitters/receivers, follow these steps:

1. Plug in the receiver to a power outlet.
2. Press and hold the "Volume" and "Down" buttons on the receiver simultaneously until you hear a "Ding" sound. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
3. Immediately press the button on the transmitter you wish to pair. The receiver will ring, confirming successful pairing.
4. Repeat for any additional transmitters you wish to pair with this receiver.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Changing Melodies

To select a different melody:

1. Press the "Up" or "Down" button on the receiver to cycle through the 58 available melodies.
2. Once you hear a melody you like, stop pressing the button. The receiver will automatically save this selection.

4.2 Adjusting Volume

To adjust the volume level:

• Press the "Volume" button on the receiver to cycle through the 5 volume levels (0 dB to 110 dB).
• The lowest setting is mute mode (0 dB), indicated by an LED flash only.

4.3 Customizing Transmitters

You can set different melodies for individual transmitters (e.g., front door, back door) to distinguish entry points:

1. Select the desired melody on the receiver as described in Section 4.1.
2. While the receiver is playing the chosen melody, press the specific transmitter button (e.g., front door button). This transmitter will now be associated with that melody.
3. Repeat for other transmitters with different melodies if desired.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the doorbell transmitter and receiver with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical agents, as these may damage the surface.

5.2 Battery Replacement (Transmitter)

The transmitter uses an A23 battery. When the transmitter's LED indicator no longer lights up or the signal weakens, it's time to replace the battery.

1. Carefully open the back cover of the transmitter.
2. Remove the old A23 battery.
3. Insert a new A23 12V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the back cover securely.

Note: Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
