Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan and performance of your RC car:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in dusty or dirty conditions, clean the car with a soft brush or compressed air to remove debris. Avoid using water directly on electronic components.
- Inspecting Components: Regularly check all screws, nuts, and bolts for tightness. Ensure the wheels are securely attached.
- Shocks: Inspect the oil-filled shock absorbers for leaks or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain optimal suspension performance.
- Gears and Drivetrain: Periodically check the metal gears and differentials for wear. Lubricate moving parts with appropriate RC-grade lubricant.
- Bearings: The 16 ball bearings should be kept clean and free of dirt. If they become gritty or noisy, they may need cleaning or replacement.
- Battery Care: Always disconnect the battery after use. Store LiPo batteries in a safe, cool place and never leave them fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.
