Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Lock not opening: Try entering the password several times. If it still fails, replace the button cell batteries and attempt to unlock again.
- Failed password registration: Ensure the lock is in an unlocked state before attempting to register a new password. Follow the password setting steps precisely. If the red light blinks, the password input was incorrect, and the device will exit the setting mode.
- Device exits setting mode unexpectedly: This may occur if there is a delay between steps during password registration or deletion. Repeat the process carefully, ensuring timely input.
- Deleting all passwords: To delete all registered passwords and restore factory default settings, input the default password (000000) to unlock the device. While unlocked, input 000000 again. The red light will turn on, then input the unlock password again. If the green light turns on, all passwords are cleared, and the device returns to factory default.
