1. Introduction

The Soundcore A30i by Anker are smart noise-cancelling earbuds designed for comfort and clear audio. They feature a compact, lipstick-shaped case, adaptive noise cancellation, clear sound with 3D surround effect, and AI-enhanced clear calls. These earbuds are built for on-the-go use with a lightweight design and IP54 splashproof and dustproof rating.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status.

3.2 Pairing with Your Device

Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
Search for "Soundcore A30i" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
For multipoint connection, activate this feature through the Soundcore app to easily switch between two connected devices.

3.3 Fitting the Earbuds

For optimal sound quality and noise cancellation, ensure a secure and comfortable fit.

Select the appropriate size of eartips (S, M, L) that best fit your ear canals. The medium size is typically the default.
Insert the left and right earbuds into your ears.
Gently rotate each earbud until it locks into a comfortable and secure position.

3.4 Soundcore App Installation

Download the Soundcore app from your device's app store to unlock full customization options, including EQ settings, touch control adjustments, ambient sound modes, and firmware updates.

4. Operating the Earbuds

4.1 Controls

The Soundcore A30i earbuds feature touch controls. Specific functions (play/pause, skip track, answer/end call, activate voice assistant) can be customized via the Soundcore app. A single earbud can be used independently when needed.

4.2 Noise Cancelling and Ambient Sound

The earbuds offer strong and smart noise cancelling, blocking up to 46dB of external noise. Adaptive algorithms automatically adjust noise cancellation levels based on your environment. You can select from 5 levels and 3 different modes (Transport, Outdoor, Indoor) via the Soundcore app. Transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds.

4.3 Sound Quality

4.4 AI-Enhanced Clear Calls

Equipped with 4 microphones and an AI algorithm, the earbuds are designed to pick up your voice with precision, ensuring clear calls in various environments.

4.5 Extended Listening

Enjoy up to 7 hours of listening from a single charge, extending to 24 hours with the charging case. In ANC mode, you get 4 hours on a single charge and 15 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides 2 hours of playtime.

4.6 Multipoint Connection

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint connection, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously (e.g., a laptop and a phone) and switch between them seamlessly. This feature can be activated through the Soundcore app.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Water and Dust Resistance

The Soundcore A30i earbuds have an IP54 rating, making them splashproof and dustproof. This protects them from water splashes and dust, making them suitable for various activities. However, they are not designed for submersion in water.

5.2 Cleaning

Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure no moisture enters the charging port or earbud openings. Remove eartips and clean them separately with mild soap and water if necessary, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.

No Sound/Connection Issues: Ensure earbuds are charged and in pairing mode. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try re-pairing.
Poor Sound Quality: Adjust eartips for a better seal. Check EQ settings in the Soundcore app.
Noise Cancellation Not Effective: Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Adjust ANC levels and modes in the Soundcore app.
Earbuds Not Charging: Clean charging contacts on both earbuds and case. Ensure USB-C cable is properly connected.
