Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge both the earbuds and their respective charging cases.

1. Place the earbuds into their charging cases, ensuring they are correctly seated.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The indicator light on the case will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 1.5-2 hours for the case.
4. The earbuds themselves can gain up to 2 hours of playtime with just 10 minutes of charging in the case.
5. Both cases support wireless charging for added convenience.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when taken out of the charging case for the first time.

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged.
2. Open the charging case lid (or remove earbuds from case). The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for new devices. You should see "QCY HT05" or "QCY HT07" (or similar names) in the list of available devices.
5. Select the appropriate earbud model to connect. Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm the successful pairing.
6. If pairing fails, place the earbuds back into the case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, and then repeat the process.

Noise Cancellation Modes

• Transport Mode: Ideal for reducing low-frequency noises like those found on airplanes, trains, or buses.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your QCY earbuds.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, especially the ear tips and charging contacts, with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Ear Tips: Remove ear tips periodically and clean them with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Charging Case: Keep the charging case clean and free of dust. Use a cotton swab to gently clean the charging pins inside the case if necessary.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Water Resistance: Note that these earbuds are Not Water Resistant. Avoid exposure to water, sweat, or rain to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your earbuds, try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Earbuds not pairing/connecting:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place earbuds back into the case, close the lid, wait 5 seconds, then open the lid again.
  • Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device.
  • Forget/delete the earbuds from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • Try pairing with a different device to rule out device-specific issues.
• Only one earbud working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then open it again.
  • Check if the earbuds are properly seated in the charging case and their charging contacts are clean.
  • Perform a factory reset (refer to QCY App or online resources for specific reset instructions for your model).
• Low volume or poor sound quality:
  • Adjust the volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Ensure ear tips are clean and properly sealed in your ear canal. Try different sized ear tips for a better fit.
  • Check if there's any debris blocking the earbud speaker mesh.
  • Disable any equalizer settings on your device or in the QCY App to see if it improves sound.
• Charging issues:
  • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
  • Try a different USB-C cable and power adapter.
  • Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case.
  • If using wireless charging, ensure the case is properly aligned on the charging pad.
