Setup Guide

1. Physical Installation

The LaView Bulb Security Camera is designed for quick and easy installation into any standard E27 light bulb socket. Ensure the power to the socket is off before installation.

1. Locate a standard E27 light bulb socket in your desired monitoring area (indoor or outdoor).
2. Carefully screw the LaView Bulb Security Camera into the E27 socket until it is secure.
3. Turn on the power to the light bulb socket. The camera will power on and indicate readiness for setup.

2. App Download & Account Creation

To control and view your camera, you need to download the official LaView App.

1. Scan the QR code provided in the camera's quick start guide or search for "LaView App" in your device's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Download and install the LaView App.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.

3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

The camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz network during the setup process.

1. In the LaView App, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
2. Select the appropriate camera model from the list.
3. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.
4. Once connected, the camera's indicator light will change, and you will receive a confirmation in the app.

Operating Instructions

1. Live View & Recording

Access real-time video streams and recorded footage through the LaView App.

• Open the LaView App and select your camera from the device list.
• The live feed will appear. You can manually record video or capture screenshots.
• Review recorded events from the playback section. The camera supports local storage via Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) and optional cloud storage.

2. Pan, Tilt & Digital Zoom

Control the camera's viewing angle directly from the app.

• In the live view, use the on-screen controls to pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (17 feet vertical) the camera lens.
• Pinch to zoom in or out on the live feed to utilize the 12x digital zoom.

3. Night Vision Modes

The camera offers advanced night vision for clear monitoring in low-light conditions.

• The camera automatically switches between day and night modes.
