  • Protect the product from freezing temperatures.

Product Features

The GETSHOWERSET Thermostatic Shower Diverter Valve is designed for durability, precision, and ease of use. Key features include:

  • Solid Brass Construction: Made from high-quality solid brass for long-lasting durability and reliability.
  • LED Digital Display: An intelligent LED display shows real-time water temperature without requiring batteries, powered by water flow.
  • Thermostatic Control: Features a cUPC-certified thermostatic and pressure-balanced cartridge to maintain a consistent water temperature and prevent sudden changes, ensuring anti-scald protection.
  • Multi-functional Operation: Each function (e.g., showerhead, body jets, handheld) is individually controlled by a single push-button. All functions can operate simultaneously or separately.
  • Adjustable Flow Control: Independent handwheel rotation allows for precise adjustment of water flow.
  • Integrated Check Valves: Inlets include built-in check valves to prevent backflow.

Installation Guide

This concealed shower valve is designed for easy installation with G1/2" standard threads. An embedded box design simplifies maintenance.

Pre-installation Checklist:

  • Ensure you have all necessary tools and plumbing materials (e.g., copper, PVC, or PEX pipes).
  • Confirm water supply lines (hot and cold) are accessible and correctly identified.
  • Prepare the wall cavity for the embedded box.

Installation Steps:

  1. Mount the Embedded Box: Securely mount the valve's embedded box within the wall cavity according to local plumbing codes and desired height.
  2. Connect Water Inlets: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the designated G1/2" inlets on the valve. Hot water inlet is typically on the left, cold on the right.
  3. Connect Outlets: Connect the G1/2" outlet lines to your shower components (showerhead, body jets, handheld shower). This valve supports up to three outlets.
  4. Connect LED Display Wires: Carefully connect the two wires for the LED digital display in the correct position. Failure to do so will prevent the display from working.
  5. Test for Leaks: Before closing the wall, turn on the water supply and thoroughly check all connections for leaks.
  6. Install Trim and Knobs: Once the wall is sealed and no leaks are detected, install the trim plate, push-buttons, and control knobs.

Operating Instructions

Your GETSHOWERSET valve offers intuitive control over water temperature and flow for a personalized shower experience.

1. Push-Button On/Off for Outlets:

  • To activate a shower outlet (e.g., showerhead, body jets, handheld), push the corresponding button in.
  • To deactivate an outlet, pull the corresponding button out.
  • Multiple outlets can be active simultaneously.

2. Temperature Control:

  • The large knob on the right controls the water temperature.
  • Rotate the knob to adjust the temperature. The LED digital display will show the real-time temperature.
  • The thermostatic cartridge is set to a default safe temperature (e.g., 38°C) to prevent scalding. You can adjust it to your preference.

3. Flow Regulation:

  • The smaller knobs (handwheels) below the push-buttons allow you to adjust the water flow rate for each active outlet.
  • Rotate the handwheel clockwise to increase water flow.
  • Rotate the handwheel counter-clockwise to reduce water flow.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower valve.

  • Cleaning: Clean the surface of the valve and trim with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
  • Thermostatic Cartridge: If you experience inconsistent temperature, the thermostatic cartridge may need cleaning or replacement. This should ideally be done by a qualified plumber.
  • Check for Leaks: Periodically inspect visible connections for any signs of leaks. Address any leaks promptly to prevent water damage.
