Unboxing and Initial Assembly
Upon receiving your WINDHORSE Moped Electric Bike, carefully remove all components from the packaging. The bike comes with a charger, charger cable, essential tools, and a manual. Ensure all parts are present before proceeding with assembly.

Battery Installation and Charging
The 48V 18AH Lithium-Ion battery is removable for convenient charging. To charge, connect the charger to the battery and a power outlet. Charging typically takes 2-3 hours. For optimal battery life, ensure the battery is fully charged before the first use.

2. Operating
Riding Modes and Gears
The WINDHORSE Moped Electric Bike offers three riding modes: pure bicycle mode, pedal assist mode (with 5 intensity levels), and pure electric mode. The 7-speed mechanical gearing system allows for sensitive shifting, making uphill rides easier. The intelligent AI algorithms automatically power down the bike in the event of tipping, enhancing safety.

Motor and Speed
Equipped with a 1000W geared hub motor, the bike can reach speeds of up to 20 MPH and handle 30° slopes. It also features cruise control, which activates when a constant throttle rate is maintained for 8 seconds.

Safety Features: Lights and Power Outage
Automatic UV sensing headlights turn on in dim light conditions, ensuring rider safety. The headlight is waterproof with double LED high power lights for a brighter field of view. Electronic taillights activate during braking. The bike also supports dumping power outage, automatically powering down if it tips over.

3. Maintenance
General Care
Regularly inspect your electric bike for any loose parts, wear and tear, or damage. Keep the bike clean and dry, especially the electrical components. Store the bike in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Tire and Suspension Care
The 20" fat tires are designed for various terrains and provide increased shock absorption. Regularly check tire pressure and inspect for punctures or damage. The adaptive damping system reduces shock based on rider weight and road conditions, enhancing ride comfort. Ensure the suspension components are clean and free from debris.

4. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Bike not powering on: Check battery charge level and ensure it is properly seated. Verify all connections are secure.
- Motor not assisting: Ensure the bike is not in parking mode (P mode). Press the brakes to disengage parking mode. Check pedal assist level on the display.
- Inaccurate speed display: This may require adjusting the wheel diameter setting in the bike's smart display. Refer to customer support for advanced settings access.
- Reduced range: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Riding conditions (terrain, rider weight, temperature) can affect range.
