Setup
Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your Goal Zero Yeti 300, carefully unpack all components. Verify that the package contains the Yeti 300 Power Station and the necessary charging cables. Inspect the unit for any visible damage. If any components are missing or damaged, contact Goal Zero customer support.
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your Yeti 300. This ensures optimal battery performance and longevity. The Yeti 300 offers multiple charging options:
- Wall Charger: Connect the included AC wall charger to the AC input port on the back of the Yeti 300 and then to a standard wall outlet. This is the fastest charging method, reaching 100% in approximately 50 minutes.
- Solar Panel: Connect a compatible Goal Zero solar panel (sold separately) to the solar input port. Charging time varies depending on solar panel wattage and sunlight conditions.
- Car Charger: Use a compatible 12V car charger (sold separately) to charge your Yeti 300 from your vehicle's 12V outlet.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Display
To power on the Yeti 300, press the main power button located on the front panel. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the battery charge level, input/output wattage, and estimated run/charge time. To power off, press and hold the main power button until the display turns off.

Using Output Ports

- AC Ports: Two 120V AC outlets provide 350W continuous power (600W surge). Ideal for laptops, small appliances, and lights.
- 12V Ports: Includes a 12V car port and other 12V outputs. Suitable for mini-fridges, air pumps, and other 12V devices.
- USB Ports: Multiple USB-A and USB-C ports are available for charging smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

Maintenance
Storage
Store your Yeti 300 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For optimal battery health, recharge the unit every 3-6 months if not in regular use. Avoid storing the unit completely discharged.
Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the Yeti 300 with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. The unit has an IPX4 rating for water resistance, meaning it can withstand splashes, but it should not be submerged in water.

Troubleshooting
Unit Not Powering On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
- Press and hold the main power button for 3-5 seconds.
No Output from Ports
- Verify that the specific output port (AC, 12V, USB) is activated by pressing its corresponding button.
- Check the device you are trying to power. Ensure it is functioning correctly and its power requirements do not exceed the Yeti 300's output limits (350W AC, 600W surge).
- If an overload occurs, the Yeti 300 will automatically shut down the affected port. Disconnect the device, wait a few moments, and then reactivate the port.
Slow Charging
- Ensure you are using the correct and fully functional charging cable.
- For solar charging, ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight and free from obstructions. Adjust the panel angle for optimal sun exposure.
- Check the charging mode settings via the app or unit display. Ensure it is not in a low-power or quiet charging mode if faster charging is desired.
