4. Setup

4.1 Wall Mounting:

  1. Choose a suitable location on a sturdy wall, preferably near a water source and a GFCI-protected electrical outlet. Ensure there is enough clearance around the unit for operation and maintenance.
  2. Using the provided mounting template (if applicable, or refer to dimensions in Figure 3.5), mark the drilling points on the wall.
  3. Drill pilot holes and securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
  4. Carefully lift and attach the pressure washer unit to the mounted bracket, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.2 Water Connection:

  1. Connect the inlet hose to a standard garden hose (not included) and then to the water inlet on the pressure washer unit. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  2. Turn on the water supply fully to allow water to flow through the unit and purge any air from the system.

4.3 Power Connection:

  1. Plug the 6 ft power cord with the integrated GFCI into a suitable 120V AC grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Press the "RESET" button on the GFCI plug if necessary, ensuring the indicator light is on.

5. Operation

5.1 Initial Start-up:

  1. Ensure the water supply is fully open and the unit is plugged in with the GFCI reset.
  2. Turn on the pressure washer's power switch.
  3. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through and expel any remaining air. This may take a few seconds. Once a steady stream of water emerges, the unit is primed.

5.2 Using the Retractable Hose:

  • To extend the hose, simply pull it out to the desired length. The hose will lock in place automatically.
  • To retract the hose, give it a short, firm tug, and the automatic rewind system will engage, pulling the hose back into the reel. Guide the hose to ensure smooth retraction.

5.3 Nozzle Selection and Use:

Select the appropriate quick-connect nozzle for your cleaning task:

  • 0° (Red) Nozzle: Pin-point jet for tough, concentrated cleaning on small, stubborn areas like cracks and caked stains. Use with extreme caution.
  • 15° (Yellow) Nozzle: Narrow fan spray for intensive cleaning of hard surfaces, such as concrete or metal, and for removing paint or rust.
  • 25° (Green) Nozzle: Medium fan spray for general cleaning of driveways, patios, and siding.
  • 40° (White) Nozzle / Soap Nozzle: Wide fan spray for gentle cleaning, ideal for vehicles, windows, and applying detergent.

To change nozzles, pull back the collar on the spray gun's wand, insert the desired nozzle, and release the collar to lock it in place. Always ensure the pressure washer is off and the trigger is disengaged before changing nozzles.

5.4 Using the Foam Cannon:

  1. Fill the foam cannon's soap tank with an appropriate pressure washer detergent.
  2. Attach the foam cannon to the spray gun's wand, similar to how you attach a nozzle.
  3. Operate the pressure washer to apply a rich lather to the surface you wish to clean.
  4. After applying soap, remove the foam cannon and attach a rinsing nozzle (e.g., 25° or 15°) to rinse the surface thoroughly.

6. Maintenance

6.1 After Each Use:

  • Turn off the pressure washer and unplug it from the power outlet.
  • Turn off the water supply.
  • Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
  • Disconnect the water inlet hose and drain any water from the unit and hoses.
  • Retract the pressure hose fully into the reel.
  • Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.

6.2 Nozzle Cleaning:

If a nozzle becomes clogged, use the included cleaning needle to clear any debris from the nozzle opening. Always ensure the unit is off and depressurized before attempting to clean nozzles.

6.3 Hose Care:

The 100 ft hose is designed to be durable and flexible. To ensure its longevity, avoid kinking, snagging, or tearing the hose. Store the unit in a location where the hose is protected from extreme physical stress or sharp objects.

6.4 Winter Storage (Freezing Temperatures):

If storing the pressure washer in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, it is crucial to winterize the unit to prevent damage. Drain all water from the pump, hoses, and spray gun. Consider using a pump protector or non-toxic antifreeze solution designed for pressure washers.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Unit does not start. No power supply; GFCI tripped; Power switch off.Check power connection; Reset GFCI; Turn power switch on.
Low pressure or no pressure.Insufficient water supply; Air in pump; Clogged nozzle; Kinked hose.Ensure water supply is fully open; Purge air by squeezing trigger; Clean nozzle with needle; Straighten hose.
Motor runs but no water.Water supply off; Inlet filter clogged; Air in pump.Turn on water supply; Clean inlet filter; Purge air from pump.
Hose does not retract properly.Hose is tangled or obstructed; Retraction mechanism issue.Ensure hose is free of obstructions; Gently guide hose during retraction. If issue persists, contact customer support.
Unit cycles on and off frequently (without trigger engaged).Air in pump; Leak in system; Inlet water pressure too low.Purge air; Check all connections for leaks; Ensure adequate water supply pressure.
Backflow prevention valve on hose bib pops off.System pressure exceeds hose bib's backflow valve limit. This can occur if the pressure washer's internal pressure exceeds the rating of your hose bib's backflow preventer. Consult a plumbing professional if this is a persistent issue, or ensure your water supply pressure is sufficient and stable.
