Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) out to the furthest position. You may feel a slight click.
  2. Adjust the Time: Rotate the crown in either direction to move the hour and minute hands until the desired time is displayed.
  3. Push the Crown In: Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position against the watch case. This will start the watch movement.

Operating Instructions

Reading the Time

The watch features a traditional analog display with hour, minute, and second hands. The blue dial includes clear hour markers for easy readability.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not recommended for scuba diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water to maintain water resistance.

  • Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, which can compromise water seals.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Watch

  • Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and smudges.
  • For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a Quartz movement and requires a nonstandard battery. When the watch stops running, the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Time Inaccuracy: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch consistently gains or loses time significantly, it may require servicing.
  • Condensation Under Crystal: This indicates a potential breach in the water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and seek professional service immediately.
