1. Introduction

This compact and portable projector is designed to deliver a high-quality Full HD viewing experience with its 450 ANSI lumens brightness and support for up to 120-inch projections. Featuring Android 9.0, built-in speakers, auto-focus, and auto-keystone correction, the X2 Max offers versatile entertainment options. This manual provides essential information for safe operation, setup, and maintenance of your projector.

2. Safety Information

  • Power Supply: Use only the provided power adapter. Ensure the voltage matches the projector's requirements (220 Volts AC).
  • Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Ensure adequate space around the projector for proper airflow to prevent overheating.
  • Eye Safety: Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The bright light can cause eye damage.
  • Placement: Place the projector on a stable, level surface. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in environments with high humidity or dust.
  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.

Ports and Controls:

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Placement

  • Upon startup or movement, the projector will automatically adjust the focus and correct the image shape.
  • For fine-tuning or manual adjustment, navigate to the settings menu using the remote control.

5.4 Network Connection

  1. From the home screen, navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Network & Internet.
  3. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.
  4. The projector supports Dual 6G WiFi for reduced latency and smooth streaming.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Navigating Android 9.0

The WANBO X2 Max runs on Android 9.0, providing access to a wide range of applications.

  • Use the remote control's directional pad and OK button to navigate the interface.

6.2 Connecting External Devices

  • HDMI: Connect your laptop, gaming console, or Blu-ray player to an HDMI port. Select the corresponding HDMI input from the projector's source menu.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port to play media files directly.
  • Bluetooth Audio: Pair Bluetooth speakers or headphones via the Bluetooth settings menu for enhanced audio. The projector features Bluetooth 5.0.
  • Chromecast: The projector has Chromecast built-in, allowing you to cast content wirelessly from compatible devices.

6.3 Adjusting Settings

  • Picture Settings: Adjust brightness, contrast, color, and aspect ratio (16:9 native) in the picture settings menu.
