Setup

4. Insert Filter Bag (if not pre-installed): Open the filter compartment cover. Insert a new fleece filter bag into the holder, ensuring it is correctly seated and sealed. Close the cover securely.
5. Power Connection: Extend the power cord and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Vacuum Cleaner

1. Ensure the power cord is plugged in.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch located on the main unit to start the vacuum cleaner.

Using the Nozzles

• Switchable Floor Nozzle: This nozzle is suitable for both hard floors and carpets. Use the foot switch on the nozzle to extend the brushes for hard floors or retract them for carpets.
• Crevice Nozzle: Ideal for cleaning narrow gaps, corners, and edges of furniture or walls. It can be attached directly to the handle or the telescopic tube.
• Furniture Brush: Designed for gentle cleaning of sensitive surfaces such as upholstery, curtains, or shelves. Attach it to the handle or telescopic tube.

Automatic Cable Winding

To retract the power cord, press the cable winding button located on the main unit. Guide the cord manually to prevent it from whipping.

Parking Position

For short breaks during cleaning or for storage, the floor nozzle can be hooked into the parking position slot on the rear of the vacuum cleaner unit.

Stopping the Vacuum Cleaner

Press the ON/OFF switch again to turn off the appliance. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Maintenance

Changing the Fleece Filter Bag

2. Open the cover and remove the HEPA filter.
3. If the filter is visibly dirty, replace it with a new Kärcher HEPA 13 filter. Do not wash the HEPA filter.
4. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is correctly positioned.
5. Close the filter compartment cover.

General Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
