1. Introduction

The LOFREE Flow is a low-profile mechanical keyboard designed for enhanced typing experience and productivity. It features a durable all-aluminum body, innovative Kailh Full POM switches, and versatile connectivity options. 2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Charging the Keyboard

The keyboard is equipped with a 2000mAh Lithium Polymer battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the keyboard before first use.

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-A cable to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.

A full charge provides up to 40 hours of non-stop working time.

2.3 Connecting the Keyboard

The LOFREE Flow keyboard supports both Bluetooth wireless and USB-C wired connections.

2.3.1 Wired Connection

To use the keyboard in wired mode:

1. Ensure the mode switch on the back of the keyboard is set to 'Wired' (usually indicated by a cable icon or 'USB').
2. Connect the USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port.
3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your operating system (Windows, Mac OS).

2.3.2 Bluetooth Wireless Connection

5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the keyboard will stop flashing and remain solid when connected.
6. To switch between paired devices, press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 briefly.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Key Functions

The LOFREE Flow keyboard features a 100-key layout, including a full alphanumeric section, function row, navigation keys, and a numeric keypad.

3.2 Function Keys (Fn Combinations)

The keyboard utilizes the Fn key to access secondary functions printed on the keycaps. Common combinations include:

• Fn + F1-F12: Media controls (play/pause, volume, etc.) and system functions (brightness, search). Refer to the icons on your specific keycaps.
• Fn + Left/Right Arrow: Adjust backlight brightness.
• Fn + Up/Down Arrow: Change backlight effects/modes.
• Fn + Win/Option: Toggle between Windows and Mac OS key layouts.

3.3 Backlight Control

• Brightness Adjustment: Press Fn + Left Arrow to decrease brightness, and Fn + Right Arrow to increase brightness.

3.4 Hot-Swappable Switches

The LOFREE Flow keyboard supports hot-swappable switches, allowing you to change switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel.

To replace a switch:

1. Power off the keyboard or disconnect it from your device.
2. Carefully remove the keycap using a keycap puller (not included).
3. Use a switch puller (not included) to gently grip the switch and pull it straight up.
4. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press it down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are not bent.
5. Reattach the keycap.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's appearance and functionality.

• Keycaps: Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap and water to clean keycaps. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed (refer to Section 3.4).
• Keyboard Body: Wipe the aluminum body with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Between Keycaps: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and switches.

4.2 Battery Care

• If storing the keyboard for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% to prolong battery life.

5.1 Connectivity Issues

• Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode and pairing mode (Fn + 1/2/3 held until flashing).
  • Check your device's Bluetooth settings to ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the keyboard is visible.
  • Try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard on your device.
  • Ensure the keyboard battery is sufficiently charged.
• Wired connection not working:
  • Ensure the keyboard is in wired mode.
  • Try a different USB-C cable or a different USB port on your computer.
  • Restart your computer.

5.2 Backlight Issues

• Backlight is dim or off:
  • Adjust brightness using Fn + Left/Right Arrow.
  • Ensure the keyboard battery is charged, as low battery can affect backlight performance.
  • The keyboard may enter a sleep mode to conserve battery, turning off the backlight. Press any key to wake it up.

5.3 Key Functionality Issues

• Keys not responding or feeling sticky:
  • Clean around the affected keycap to remove any debris.
  • If using hot-swappable switches, try removing and re-inserting the switch, ensuring it is seated correctly.
