Operating Instructions
Your Hilax Centrifugal Juicer features an 1100W motor and a 3-inch wide feed chute for efficient juicing.
Preparing Ingredients:
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- For most fruits and vegetables, the 3-inch wide feed chute allows for whole produce, reducing prep time. For larger items, cut them into pieces that fit comfortably into the chute.
- Remove large seeds (e.g., peach, mango) and hard pits.

Figure 5: The wide feed chute allows for juicing whole fruits and vegetables.
Juicing Process:
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the juice pitcher is in place.
- Plug the juicer into a power outlet. The LED button will illuminate.
- Turn the control knob to the desired speed setting (1-5) based on the type of produce. "0" is the stop position.
- Gradually feed the prepared fruits or vegetables into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide them down. Do not force the produce.
- The juicer will extract juice into the pitcher and separate pulp into the pulp collector.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the control knob back to "0" to stop the appliance and unplug it.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Juicer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; safety locking arm not engaged; motor overheating. | Ensure plug is securely in outlet; check that the locking arm is fully upright and locked; allow motor to cool down for 30 minutes if it was recently used. |
| Low juice yield or wet pulp. | Incorrect speed setting for produce; feeding produce too quickly; filter clogged. | Select a higher speed for harder produce; feed produce slowly and steadily; clean the filter thoroughly. |
| Excessive vibration or noise. | Improper assembly; unbalanced load in filter basket. | Disassemble and reassemble all parts, ensuring they are correctly aligned and locked; distribute produce evenly in the chute. |
| Juice leaks from the side. | Lid not properly sealed; pulp collector full. | Ensure the lid is securely locked and the safety arm is engaged; empty the pulp collector regularly during juicing. |
