2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before setting up and using your Vibemo Beach Tent. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Secure Anchoring: Ensure the shelter is securely anchored using the provided sandbags or ground pegs. Proper anchoring is crucial for stability, especially in varying weather conditions.
  • Weather Conditions: Avoid using the tent in strong winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms. While designed for sun protection, it is not intended for severe weather. Disassemble and store the tent if adverse weather is expected.
  • Pole Handling: When inserting poles, hold the middle of the pole to maintain stability. Avoid inserting poles at a slant, as this may compromise the tent's structure.
  • UV Protection: The tent offers UPF 50+ sun protection. However, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should still be minimized, and additional sun protection measures (sunscreen, hats) are recommended.
  • Children: Keep children supervised around the tent during setup and use.

  1. Lay Out Tent: Lay the beach tent fabric flat on your desired location. Ensure the fabric is stretched out evenly.
  2. Fill Sandbags/Use Pegs: Fill the four integrated sandbags with sand. If setting up on grass or soft ground, use the provided ground pegs to secure the corners instead of sandbags.
  3. Unfold and Position Poles: Unfold the support poles. Depending on the desired shade area and group size, you can prop up 2 or 4 corners of the tent. Insert the top of the pole into the fabric loop at the corner.
  4. Insert Poles into Sand: Hold the middle of each pole and firmly insert the bottom end into the sand. Avoid inserting poles at a slant, as this can make them unstable. Rotating the rod slightly can help with insertion.
  5. Bury Sandbags (if applicable): For maximum stability on sand, dig a deep hole and bury the filled sandbags. This provides a strong anchor point.
  6. Adjust and Secure: Adjust the tension of the fabric by pulling the corners outwards and ensuring the poles are upright. The bungee cord ties can be used to further secure the poles to the sandbags/pegs if needed.

4.1 Anchoring Choices

Your Vibemo Beach Tent offers versatile anchoring options for different terrains:

  • Sand Bags: Ideal for beach environments. Fill the integrated bags with sand for a secure anchor.
  • Grass Pegs: Use the provided ground pegs when setting up on grassy areas, parks, or other soft ground.

4.2 Optimal Shade Positioning

To maximize shade throughout the day, adjust the tent's orientation and pole configuration:

  • For morning to early afternoon (approx. 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM), position the tent to block the sun from the east/southeast.
  • For afternoon to evening (approx. 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM), adjust the tent to block the sun from the west/southwest.
  • Experiment with using two or four poles to create the desired shade angle and coverage.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Vibemo Beach Tent:

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially on the beach, shake off any sand or debris. The Lycra fabric is designed to resist sand sticking. If necessary, wipe down the fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Drying: Ensure the tent fabric and poles are completely dry before packing away to prevent mold, mildew, and corrosion.
  • Storage: Store the tent in its carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Pole Inspection: Periodically check the aluminum poles for any signs of damage or bending. While the poles are thicker for enhanced stability, proper handling is still important.
