Maintenance

- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild soap solution, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry. Avoid using chemical cleaners.
- Water Resistance: Your watch is rated for 200-meter water resistance. This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and shallow diving. However, avoid operating buttons while the watch is submerged in water or wet, as this can compromise the water seal. After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures (e.g., direct sunlight on a car dashboard, very cold environments) for extended periods, as this can affect battery life and internal components.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses a long-life battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Casio service center to ensure proper re-sealing for water resistance.
- Shock Resistance: While designed to be shock-resistant, avoid unnecessary impacts. Severe shocks can still cause damage.
