Setup Guide

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the Aneken AL-17 detector and its accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components, including the USB charging cable, are present.
2. Placement: Place the detector on a stable, flat surface. While resistant to light interference, optimal performance is achieved in a moderately lit environment.
3. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the detector's charging port. Connect the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The device is ready for use once charged or connected to power.

Operating Instructions

The Aneken AL-17 is designed for simple and efficient operation. The device automatically activates its detection features when an item is placed on the detection table.

1. Placing the Item: Gently place the banknote, ID card, or credit card onto the detection table. The device's sensors will automatically detect the item and activate the UV LED lights and watermark backlight.
2. UV Light Verification: Observe the item under the UV light. Genuine banknotes and documents will display specific security threads, fibers, or images that fluoresce under UV light. Refer to official currency guides for specific UV features.
3. Watermark Verification: For banknotes, utilize the four-leaf clover watermark backlight. This feature illuminates the hidden watermark patterns, which are typically visible when held up to a light source.
4. US Dollar Indicator Line: For US dollars, align the bill with the indicator line on the device. The line will illuminate in a specific color (green for $20, red for $100, etc.) if the bill is genuine, indicating the presence of the security thread.
5. Results: The detection process provides results in seconds. If the security features are present and display correctly, the item is likely genuine. If features are absent or appear incorrect, the item may be counterfeit.
