4. Operating Instructions
Your TRALT Office Chair offers several adjustable features to customize your comfort.
4.1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the chair. To raise the chair, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.
4.2. Recline Function
The chair features a recline function allowing the backrest to tilt between 90° and 120°. To recline, lean back gently. The chair will follow your movement. To lock the recline position or adjust the tension, refer to the base knob.
4.3. Adaptable Lumbar Support
The TRALT chair includes an adaptable lumbar support system to protect your spine and lower back. Adjust the lumbar support by rotating the knob located on the side of the backrest. This allows you to customize the depth and position of the lumbar curve to fit your body.

4.4. 90° Flip-up Armrests
The armrests on your TRALT chair can be flipped up by 90 degrees. This feature allows you to push the chair closer to your desk, saving space, or to easily move in and out of the chair. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position. To lower them, gently pull them down.

This image demonstrates the 90-degree flip-up armrest feature, illustrating how it allows the chair to be tucked under a desk, saving space.
4.5. Seat Back Tension Adjustment
The tension of the seat back recline can be adjusted using the knob located underneath the seat, typically at the front of the mechanism. Turn the knob clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your TRALT Office Chair.
- Cleaning:
- For the mesh back and fabric seat, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Wipe down plastic and metal parts with a damp cloth.
- Vacuum the mesh and fabric periodically to remove dust and debris.
- Casters: Periodically check the casters for hair or debris that may impede smooth rolling. Clean as necessary.
- Hardware: Every 6 months, check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 330 lbs.
- Sunlight Exposure: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading of fabric and degradation of materials.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TRALT Office Chair, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chair does not adjust height | Gas lift cylinder malfunction or lever not engaged. | Ensure the height adjustment lever is fully pulled. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement. Contact customer support. |
| Chair wobbles or feels unstable | Loose screws or improper assembly. | Check all assembly screws and tighten them securely. Ensure the gas lift is fully seated in the base and seat mechanism. |
| Casters do not roll smoothly | Debris (hair, lint) caught in casters or damaged casters. | Turn the chair over and remove any debris from the caster wheels. If damaged, casters may need replacement. |
| Backrest does not recline or is too loose/tight | Tension knob adjustment or mechanism issue. | Adjust the seat back tension knob (under the seat) to your desired resistance. If the mechanism is faulty, contact customer support. |
If these solutions do not resolve the issue, please contact TRALT customer support for further assistance.
