1. Product Overview

The OLEVS OPK-US-G6701-9965 is a sophisticated men's automatic mechanical watch, featuring a skeleton dial design, date and day calendar functions, and luminous hands. Crafted with high-quality stainless steel, this watch is designed for durability and style. It operates on an original imported self-winding movement, eliminating the need for a battery.

2. Key Features

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Unboxing and Inspection

Upon receiving your OLEVS watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Ensure all protective films are removed from the crystal and case back.

3.2 Initial Winding

As an automatic watch, it requires initial winding if it has stopped. To wind the watch:

  1. Ensure the crown is in position 1 (fully pushed in).
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up sufficient power reserve to start the movement.
  3. The watch will then continue to wind itself through your daily wrist movements. If worn daily for 8-10 hours, manual winding should not be necessary.

3.3 Adjusting the Stainless Steel Strap

A strap adjustment tool is included with your watch to help achieve a comfortable fit. If the strap length is insufficient or requires further adjustment, please contact OLEVS customer service for assistance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to position 3 (farthest out).
  2. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise until the desired time is set.
  3. Push the crown back to position 1 to engage the movement.

4.2 Setting the Date and Day

The watch features a date window and a day of the week sub-dial.

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2 (middle position).
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
  3. Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
  4. Once set, push the crown back to position 1.

Important: Avoid setting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If adjustment is needed during this period, first set the time outside this range, adjust the date/day, then reset the time.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Water Resistance

Your OLEVS watch is 3ATM water resistant. This means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water (e.g., washing hands, cold shower). It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or hot water activities (e.g., hot showers, saunas), as steam and temperature changes can compromise the seals.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For the stainless steel strap, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.3 Storage

When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields, which can affect the mechanical movement's accuracy.
