1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DCCStands Dejavoo QD3 mPOS Swivel and Tilt Stand. This stand is designed to securely hold your Dejavoo QD3 mPOS terminal, enhancing customer interaction and protecting your equipment. Constructed from sturdy steel with a durable powder-coated finish, it offers both reliability and ease of use.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure the stand is installed on a stable, flat surface to prevent tipping.
• Do not overtighten screws during installation, as this may damage the stand or mounting surface.
• Keep the security tether keys in a safe place.
• Avoid exposing the stand to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Do not attempt to modify the stand, as this may compromise its structural integrity and void the warranty.

4. Setup and Installation

The stand is supplied fully built for simple installation. Two methods are available for securing the stand to your countertop:

Method 1: Screw-Down Installation

1. Position the stand on your desired countertop location.
2. Mark the screw holes through the base of the stand onto the countertop.
3. Drill pilot holes into the countertop if necessary, according to the screw size.
4. Secure the stand to the countertop using the provided screws.

Method 2: Adhesive Pad Installation

1. Clean and dry the desired countertop surface thoroughly.
2. Peel the protective backing from one side of the adhesive pad and apply it to the bottom of the stand's base.
3. Peel the remaining protective backing from the adhesive pad.
4. Carefully position the stand on the cleaned countertop surface and press firmly for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

Attaching the Dejavoo QD3 Terminal

1. Align your Dejavoo QD3 mPOS terminal with the mounting plate on the stand.
2. Secure the terminal to the stand using the appropriate fasteners or clips provided with your terminal (terminal not included).

Installing the Security Tether Lock

1. Attach one end of the security tether to the designated point on the stand.
2. Attach the other end of the security tether to the designated security slot on your Dejavoo QD3 terminal.
3. Use the provided keys to lock the tether securely. Keep the keys in a safe location.

5. Operating Instructions

The DCCStands Dejavoo QD3 mPOS Swivel and Tilt Stand is designed for flexible positioning to improve customer experience and payment transactions.

Tilting the Terminal

The stand allows the terminal to tilt up to 60 degrees. Gently push or pull the terminal to adjust its viewing angle for both merchant and customer convenience.

Swiveling the Stand

The stand can swivel a full 190 degrees. This allows the terminal to be easily rotated between the merchant and the customer for signature capture or PIN entry.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the stand regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder-coated finish.
• Inspection: Periodically check all mounting screws and connections to ensure they remain secure.
• Lubrication: The swivel and tilt mechanisms are designed for smooth operation and generally do not require lubrication. If movement becomes stiff, ensure no debris is obstructing the mechanism.

7. Troubleshooting

• Stand is wobbly: Ensure all mounting screws are tightened, or the adhesive pad is firmly secured to a clean surface.
• Terminal not secure on stand: Verify that the terminal is correctly aligned and fastened to the stand's top plate. Check the security tether is properly engaged and locked.
• Difficulty tilting or swiveling: Inspect the mechanism for any obstructions. Ensure the stand is not overloaded beyond its intended capacity.
