1. Product Overview

The GMKtec K6 Mini PC Gaming is a compact and powerful desktop computer designed for various computing tasks, including gaming, content creation, and office productivity. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics, and supports high-speed memory and storage for a responsive user experience.

2. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your GMKtec K6 Mini PC, please verify that all the following items are included:

• Power Supply & Cable
• VESA Mount with Screws

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Connection

1. Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB4 (Type-C) ports. The device supports simultaneous triple screen display.
2. Connect your keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports.
3. For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the 2.5Gbps LAN ports.
4. Connect the power supply to the DC IN port and plug it into a power outlet.
5. Press the power button on the front of the Mini PC to turn it on.

3.2 VESA Mount Installation

The GMKtec K6 Mini PC can be mounted to the back of a compatible monitor using the included VESA mount and screws, saving desk space.

3.3 RAM and SSD Expansion

The Nucbox K6 mini PC supports expansion of its DDR5 RAM up to 64GB and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage up to 4TB across two M.2 2280 slots. This process involves disassembling the unit to access the internal components.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the power button on the front panel. The power indicator light will illuminate.
• Power Off: From the operating system, select 'Shut down'. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown (use only when necessary).

4.2 Network Connectivity

The GMKtec K6 supports both wired and wireless network connections.

• Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable to either of the two 2.5Gbps LAN ports for high-speed internet access.
• Wireless Connection: The Mini PC is equipped with WiFi 6E, supporting 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz, and 6.0GHz wireless frequencies for a fast and stable connection. Enable Wi-Fi in your operating system settings and connect to your desired network.
• Bluetooth: Built-in Bluetooth 5.2 allows for stable and efficient connection to wireless devices such as keyboards, mice, and speakers.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cooling System

The GMKtec K6 Mini PC features an improved quiet cooling fan system with copper cooling and multiple exhaust vents to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Regular cleaning of dust from the vents is recommended to ensure efficient cooling.

5.2 General Care

• Keep the Mini PC in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GMKtec K6 Mini PC, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
• No Display: Verify that the HDMI/DisplayPort/USB-C cable is firmly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor. Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
• No Internet Connection: For wired connections, check the Ethernet cable and router status. For Wi-Fi, ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings and you are connected to the correct network with the correct password.
• Slow Performance: Close unnecessary applications. Check for background processes that may be consuming resources. Ensure adequate ventilation for cooling.
• Peripheral Issues: Try connecting USB devices to different ports. Ensure drivers for specific peripherals are installed if required.
