4. Setup and Installation

1. Identify Components: Separate and identify all parts as per the package contents list (Section 3).
2. Assemble Feet to Bars: Attach the Connection Main Body and Bottom Support components to each end of the Aluminium Rods. Ensure they are oriented correctly for your vehicle's roof profile.
3. Position on Vehicle: Carefully place the assembled cross bars onto the designated mounting points on your vehicle's roof. Ensure proper alignment and spacing.
4. Secure to Vehicle: Use the provided metal kit and mounting equipment (bolts, etc.) to securely fasten the roof rack feet to your vehicle's roof. Tighten all bolts evenly using the Allen key until snug, but do not overtighten.
5. Install Locked Covers: Place the Connection Main Body Locked Covers over the assembled feet.
6. Lock the System: Insert the keys into the locks and turn to secure the covers. This provides an extra deterrent against theft and prevents unauthorized disassembly. Remove keys after locking.
7. Final Check: Gently pull on each cross bar to ensure it is firmly attached and there is no movement. Re-check all tightened bolts.

5.1. Load Capacity

• Moving Vehicle: 75 kg (165 lbs). This is the legal limit regardless of the number of aluminium bars used (2 or 3).
• Parked Vehicle: A maximum load of 150 kg (330 lbs) is recommended for the product consisting of 2 aluminium bars when the vehicle is parked (e.g., for rooftop tents).

Always distribute the load evenly across the cross bars. Secure all items firmly to prevent shifting during transit. Overloading can lead to damage to the roof rack, vehicle, or pose a safety hazard.
