Setup

1. Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
2. Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
3. Ensure the crumb tray is correctly inserted at the bottom of the toaster.
4. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest browning setting to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal.

Operating Instructions

1. Insert Bread: Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots. The centering system will automatically position the bread for even browning.
2. Select Browning Level: Turn the browning control dial to your desired setting, from 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest).

3. Start Toasting: Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
4. Defrost Function: If toasting frozen bread, insert the bread, lower the carriage lever, and then press the 'DEFROST' button. The indicator light will illuminate.
5. Reheat Function: To warm already toasted bread, insert the bread, lower the carriage lever, and then press the 'REHEAT' button. The indicator light will illuminate.
6. Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the 'STOP' button. The bread will automatically eject.

7. Completion: Once the toasting cycle is complete, the bread will automatically eject, and the toaster will switch off.

Maintenance and Cleaning

2. Clean Crumb Tray: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Discard accumulated crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
