Follow the detailed steps in the provided video and diagrams to securely attach the main pole to your desk using either the C-Clamp or Grommet method. Ensure all screws are tightened appropriately for stability.

4. Assemble the Arm and Pole Wire Clips

Attach the monitor arms to the main pole. Loosen the screw on the pipe clamp before installing the arm, then tighten it securely. Ensure the VESA plate side of the arm faces upwards. Install the cable management clips along the arms and pole.

5. Assemble VESA Plate and Monitor

Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws and washers. Ensure it is securely fastened.

6. Install the Monitor to the Swivel Arm

Carefully slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the swivel arm. Secure it by tightening the locking screw. Adjust the screw with the Allen key to adjust the height of the VESA panel as needed (clockwise to lower, counter-clockwise to raise).

Operating and Adjustments

The ErGear Dual Monitor Desk Mount offers versatile adjustments for optimal viewing comfort:

  • Height Adjustment: Loosen the clamp on the main pole to slide the arms up or down to your desired height. Re-tighten the clamp securely.
  • Tilt: Adjust the monitor's vertical angle by tilting it +/-45 degrees to reduce glare and eye strain.
  • Swivel: Rotate the monitor horizontally +/-90 degrees for easy screen sharing or viewing from different angles.
  • Rotation: Rotate the monitor 360 degrees to switch between landscape and portrait orientations.
  • Arm Extension/Retraction: The articulating arms allow you to extend or retract your monitors closer or further from you. Adjust the tension screws on the arm joints as needed to hold the desired position.

  • Do not disassemble the mount unless instructed to do so.

Troubleshooting

  • Monitors are not level: Ensure the VESA plates are correctly aligned and tightened. Adjust the small bolts on the tilt head to fine-tune alignment.
  • Monitors sag or do not hold position: Tighten the tension screws on the arm joints. Refer to the assembly instructions for specific locations.
  • Mount feels unstable: Double-check that the C-Clamp or Grommet mount is securely fastened to the desk and all screws are fully tightened. Ensure your desk meets the thickness requirements.
