2. Safety Instructions

Your safety is paramount. Please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Two-Person Assembly: Assembly requires at least two adults. Do not attempt to assemble alone due to the weight and fragility of the glass components.
  • Handle Glass with Care: All glass panels are tempered for safety, but they can still break if mishandled or subjected to sharp impacts. Wear protective gloves during assembly.
  • Anti-Tipping Device: Always secure the cabinet to the wall using the provided anti-tipping device. This prevents accidental tipping, especially in households with children or pets.
  • Weight Limits: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity for each shelf or the overall cabinet. Refer to the "Specifications" section for detailed weight limits.
  • Stable Surface: Place the cabinet on a flat, level, and stable surface to ensure proper balance and prevent wobbling. Use the adjustable feet to level the cabinet if necessary.
  • Avoid Overloading: Distribute weight evenly across shelves. Avoid placing heavy items on the top of the cabinet.
  • Moving the Cabinet: Once assembled and filled, the cabinet is very heavy. If relocation is necessary, empty the cabinet first and move it carefully with assistance to prevent damage or injury.

  • Locking Mechanism: If your cabinet has a lock, insert the key and turn to lock or unlock the doors. Remove the key after locking to prevent loss.
  • Adjusting Shelves: To change shelf height, carefully remove items from the shelf, lift the glass shelf, reposition the shelf supports to desired holes, and then place the shelf back.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your display cabinet:

  • Cleaning Glass: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner (ammonia-free recommended) to clean glass surfaces. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glass, to avoid streaks and protect the wood panels.
  • Cleaning Wood Panels: Wipe wood particle board panels with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
  • Dusting: Regularly dust the interior and exterior surfaces to maintain clarity and cleanliness.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading or damage to the wood panels.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity level to prevent warping or damage to the materials.
