Note: The Verifone M400/M440 payment terminal is not included.

3. Safety Information

4. Setup Instructions

The swivel and tilt stand is supplied fully built for straightforward installation. There are two primary methods for securing the stand to a countertop or surface: using screws or an adhesive pad.

4.1. Attaching the Stand to a Surface

Choose one of the following methods to secure the stand:

1. Using Screws (Recommended for Permanent Installation):

   Position the stand on your desired surface. Mark the locations for the mounting screws through the holes in the square base plate. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then secure the stand using the provided screws. Ensure the stand is firmly attached and does not wobble.

2. Using Adhesive Pad (For Non-Permanent or Drill-Free Installation):

   Clean the underside of the stand's base plate and the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure they are free of dust and grease. Peel the backing from the adhesive pad and firmly press it onto the underside of the stand's base. Then, press the stand firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure before placing the terminal on the stand.

4.2. Attaching the Verifone M400/M440 Terminal

The stand features a custom top plate designed to securely hold your Verifone M400 or M440 terminal.

1. Align your Verifone M400 or M440 terminal with the mounting points on the stand's top plate.
2. Gently slide or clip the terminal into place until it is securely seated. Ensure all connection points are engaged.
3. Route any necessary cables through the integrated flange cover on the stand pole to maintain a tidy and secure setup. This helps hide wires and minimizes the risk of damage or theft.

5.1. Swivel Functionality

The stand allows the terminal to swivel a full 190 degrees. To swivel the terminal, gently rotate the terminal and its mounting plate to the desired angle. This feature facilitates easy movement between merchant and customer for transaction processing.

5.2. Tilt Functionality

The stand can tilt up to 60 degrees. To adjust the tilt, hold the terminal firmly and gently push or pull it to the desired viewing angle. This improves visibility and accessibility for both staff and customers.

• Stand is wobbly after installation: Re-check all mounting screws or the adhesive pad. Ensure the surface is flat and stable. If using screws, confirm they are fully tightened.
• Terminal does not fit securely: Verify that you are using a Verifone M400 or M440 terminal. Ensure the terminal is correctly aligned with the stand's mounting plate and fully engaged.
• Swivel/Tilt mechanism is stiff: Inspect for any foreign objects or debris obstructing the movement. Ensure the stand is not overtightened at its base, which could affect the pole's movement.
