1. Introduction

The Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus) is designed to provide hands-free control for navigating digital content on various devices. This pedal allows users to turn pages of sheet music, e-books, presentations, and more, enhancing convenience during activities such as musical performances, reading, or public speaking. It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and offers multiple operating modes to suit different applications.

2. Product Overview

The Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus) features a robust design with two foot pedals and a central control panel. The control panel includes power switches, mode selection buttons, and indicators for status and battery.

3. Setup and Pairing

3.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, ensure the pedal is fully charged. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port located on the side of the pedal and to a standard USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

3.2 Bluetooth Connection

Follow these steps to pair your Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus) with your device:

1. Ensure the pedal is charged and powered on using the 'Power' switch.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your tablet, smartphone, or computer.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices. The pedal will appear as "P33-01 Pedal".
4. Select "P33-01 Pedal" to initiate the pairing process. Confirm any pairing requests on your device.
5. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator on the pedal will illuminate steadily, and your device will show it as paired.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the pedal, slide the 'Power' switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.

4.2 Mode Selection

The pedal features five distinct operating modes, each simulating different keyboard inputs. Use the mode selection buttons on the central control panel to switch between these modes. The active mode is indicated by an illuminated LED.

5. Understanding Operating Modes

The Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus) offers five modes to emulate various keyboard functions, allowing for versatile control:

• Mode 1 (Up & Down): Left pedal acts as 'Page Up', Right pedal acts as 'Page Down'. Ideal for scrolling through documents or web pages.
• Mode 2 (Left & Right): Left pedal acts as 'Left Arrow', Right pedal acts as 'Right Arrow'. Useful for navigating slides in presentations or images in galleries.
• Mode 3 (Up Arrow & Down Arrow): Left pedal acts as 'Up Arrow', Right pedal acts as 'Down Arrow'. Similar to Mode 1 but can be preferred by some applications.
• Mode 4 (Left Mouse Click & Right Mouse Click): Left pedal acts as 'Left Mouse Click', Right pedal acts as 'Right Mouse Click'. Provides basic mouse functionality.
• Mode 5 (Space & Enter): Left pedal acts as 'Space', Right pedal acts as 'Enter'. Commonly used for playing/pausing media or confirming actions.

5.1 Repeat Mode

The 'Repeat' switch enables continuous page switching. When activated, holding down a pedal will repeatedly trigger its assigned action (e.g., continuous page turning). When deactivated, each press of the pedal will trigger a single action.

6. Device and Software Compatibility

The Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus) is compatible with a wide range of devices and operating systems:

• Operating Systems: iOS (version 11 and above), Android, Windows.
• Devices: iPad, iPhone, Android Tablets, Smartphones, PCs, Laptops.
• Supported Software/Applications: iBooks, Kindle, WPS, PDF readers (e.g., Adobe PDF), PiaScore, ForScore, and many other applications that respond to standard keyboard inputs (Page Up/Down, Arrow keys, Space, Enter).

7. Battery and Charging

The pedal is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. A full charge provides approximately 60 hours of continuous use. Recharge the device using the Type-C charging port as described in Section 3.1.

8. Care and Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Yueyinpu Wireless Page Turner Pedal (Plus):

• Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Store the pedal in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Avoid exposing the device to water or excessive moisture.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your page turner pedal, refer to the following common solutions:

• Device Not Connecting:
  • Ensure the pedal is powered on and fully charged.
  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your host device (tablet, smartphone, PC).
  • Try turning the pedal off and on again, then re-attempt pairing.
  • If previously paired, try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
  • Check for potential interference from other Bluetooth devices nearby. Temporarily disable other Bluetooth devices to isolate the issue.
• Incorrect Page Turning/Functionality:
  • Confirm that the correct operating mode is selected on the pedal for your application (refer to Section 5).
  • Ensure the application you are using supports the selected keyboard inputs (e.g., Page Up/Down, Arrow keys). Some applications may require specific settings or may not be fully compatible.
  • Check the 'Repeat' switch setting if you are experiencing unexpected continuous or single actions.
• Unresponsive Pedals:
  • If the pedals become unresponsive, try pressing the reset switch located near the charging port (refer to Figure 3.1). This will restart the pedal without losing pairing information.
