3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse.
- Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2. Connecting via 2.4GHz Wireless
- Open the battery compartment and remove the USB 2.4G receiver.
- Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the underside.
- Switch the connectivity mode to 2.4G (indicated by a specific LED or switch position, refer to mouse underside).
- The mouse should connect automatically.
3.3. Connecting via Bluetooth
The mouse supports Bluetooth 3.0 and Bluetooth 5.0.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the underside.
- Switch the connectivity mode to either BT3.0 or BT5.0 using the mode switch button on the underside.
- On your computer or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Search for new devices. The mouse should appear as "Akko Cat Mouse" or similar.
- Select the mouse to pair. Follow any on-screen prompts.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Functions
- Left Click: Primary selection and activation.
- Right Click: Accesses contextual menus.
- Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content vertically.
- Middle Click (Scroll Wheel Press): Activates specific functions depending on the application (e.g., opening links in new tabs).
4.2. DPI Adjustment
The mouse supports multiple DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings to adjust cursor sensitivity. The default DPI is 1600. You can cycle through available DPI settings (e.g., 800, 1600, 3200) by pressing the DPI switch button, which may be integrated with the scroll wheel or a dedicated button on the mouse. Each press will change the sensitivity.
