Setup

Battery Installation

The Fuzion Digital Pocket Gram Scale requires 2 AAA batteries (included).

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the scale.
  2. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Power On

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. The display will show "88888" then "0.00g".

Operating Instructions

Weighing

  1. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. Wait for "0.00g" to appear.
  3. Gently place the item to be weighed on the center of the weighing platform.
  4. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of its contents.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.00g".
  3. Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.

Changing Weighing Units

The scale supports six different weighing modes: grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn).

  1. With the scale turned on and displaying "0.00g", press the MODE button repeatedly.
  2. The display will cycle through the available units. Stop when your desired unit is shown.

Calibration

For optimal accuracy, periodic calibration is recommended. A 100g calibration weight is included with your scale.

  1. Turn the scale on and wait for "0.00g".
  2. Press and hold the MODE button until the display shows "CAL".
  3. Release the MODE button, then press it again. The display will flash "200.00g" (or the required calibration weight).
  4. Place the included 100g calibration weight on the center of the platform.
  5. The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode, indicating successful calibration.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the scale, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Storage

Store the scale in a cool, dry place. The protective cover should be used when not in use to prevent damage to the weighing platform.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

Display shows "Lo"Batteries are low. Replace with new AAA batteries.
Display shows "OUE2"Overload error. Remove excess weight from the platform.
Inaccurate readingsEnsure the scale is on a flat, stable surface. Recalibrate the scale using the 100g calibration weight.
