3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the floodlight and all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present and undamaged. The package includes one Ledvion LED Floodlight with Motion Sensor, 50W, 4000K, 6000 Lumens, IP44, with Quick Connector.

3.2 Mounting

The floodlight comes with an adjustable mounting bracket. Choose a suitable location for installation, ensuring it is a stable surface capable of supporting the floodlight's weight. Mark the drilling points using the bracket as a template. Securely fasten the bracket to the surface using appropriate screws and anchors (not included).

3.3 Electrical Connection

Ensure the power supply is turned off before making any electrical connections. The floodlight is designed for 230V AC power. Use the provided IP68 quick connector for a secure and watertight connection to your main power supply. If you are unsure about electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.

The floodlight is rated IP44, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and against splashing water from any direction. The quick connector itself is IP68 rated for superior water immersion protection.

4. Operating

4.1 Motion Sensor Functionality

The integrated Passive InfraRed (PIR) motion sensor detects movement within its detection zone, automatically activating the floodlight. The sensor is adjustable, allowing you to customize its sensitivity and detection range.

• Detection Range: Up to 6 meters, with an additional 2 meters for optimal detection.
• Sensor Angle: 120 degrees, providing wide coverage.

Adjust the sensor head to cover the desired area. Avoid pointing the sensor towards heat sources, reflective surfaces, or areas with constant movement (e.g., busy roads) to prevent false triggers.

4.2 Light Output

The floodlight emits a neutral white light at 4000K, providing clear and bright illumination suitable for various outdoor applications. The 50W LED produces 6000 lumens, ensuring ample light coverage.
