4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle and base for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line, boil it, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the power base in water.
- Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is away from the edge of the counter and out of reach of children.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet. You can wrap excess power cord in the kettle power base to keep the counter tidy.
5. Operating Instructions
The KOIOS Gooseneck Electric Kettle features precise temperature control and a keep-warm function for various beverage preparations.
- Filling the Kettle: Remove the lid and fill the kettle with fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN line or above the MAX line (0.8L capacity). Ensure the lid is securely placed back on the kettle.
- Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base. The LCD display on the base will briefly show the current temperature.
- Power On/Off: Press the "start/pause" icon (▷‖) to turn the kettle on or off.
- Selecting Temperature:
- Press the "thermometer" icon (🌡️) to cycle through preset temperatures.
- For precise adjustment, press and hold the "thermometer" icon for 3 seconds to enter ±1℉ mode. Use the "+ " and "-" icons to adjust the temperature in 1-degree increments.
- To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the °C/°F icon.
- To switch between ±1℉ and ±5℉ adjustment modes, press and hold the "+ -" icon for 3 seconds.
- Keep Warm Function:
- To heat directly and keep warm at 60°C/140°F, press the "keep warm" icon (☕).
- To heat to a target temperature and then keep warm, select your desired temperature first, then press the "keep warm" icon. The kettle will maintain the target temperature for up to 4 hours.
- Mute Mode: The kettle features a mute mode. Refer to the display icons for the mute function.

General Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

- Step 2: Boil the mixture for 10 minutes.

- Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Your kettle should now be completely clean.
