Setup and Initial Use

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case features an LED digital display that shows the battery level of the case and each earbud.

1. Place both earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated to initiate charging.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a compatible USB power source.
3. The LED display on the case will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when removed from the charging case.

1. Open the charging case and remove both earbuds. They will automatically power on, and a blue indicator light will flash. If they do not power on automatically, press and hold the touch area on each earbud for 3-5 seconds until the blue indicator light flashes.
2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
4. Search for available devices and select "YD03" from the list.
5. Once connected, the earbuds will provide a voice prompt stating "Connected".

The earbuds support independent use, allowing you to use either the left or right earbud individually. Simply remove one earbud from the case, and it will connect to your device.

3. Selecting Ear Tips

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The earbuds feature touch-sensitive controls on their outer surface. Refer to the following table for common functions:

Power On/Off

• Power On: Remove earbuds from the charging case. They will power on automatically. Alternatively, press and hold the touch area for 3-5 seconds.
• Power Off: Place earbuds back into the charging case. They will power off automatically and begin charging. Alternatively, disconnect from Bluetooth and they will power off after a few minutes of inactivity.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your earbuds.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Gently remove any earwax or debris from the ear tips and speaker mesh using a small, soft brush or cotton swab.
• Water Resistance: The earbuds are rated IPX4 water resistant, meaning they are protected from splashing water from any direction. They are suitable for light rain and sweat during exercise. The charging case is NOT waterproof. Do not submerge the earbuds or charging case in water.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To preserve battery life, avoid fully discharging the earbuds and charging case frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not in constant use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your earbuds, try the following solutions:

• Earbuds not pairing/connecting:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid and remove them again to re-initiate pairing mode.
  • Turn off and then on your device's Bluetooth.
  • Forget "YD03" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
• Only one earbud working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then remove them simultaneously.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting the earbuds (refer to manufacturer's website for specific reset instructions if not detailed here).
• No sound or low volume:
  • Check the volume level on both your connected device and the earbuds.
  • Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears.
