3. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging time is approximately 4.4 hours for a full charge, providing up to 18 hours of playtime.

4.2 Powering On/Off

To power on the speaker, press and hold the power button located on the top panel until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Power on the DOSS SoundBox Ultra speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "DOSS SoundBox Ultra" from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will turn solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
4. The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 99 feet (30 meters).

5.2 Aux-in Mode

Connect your audio device to the speaker's 3.5mm AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to Aux-in mode. The indicator light will change to reflect the active mode.

5.3 USB Flash Drive / TF Card Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or TF card into the corresponding port on the speaker. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio files. Ensure your audio files are in a compatible format (e.g., MP3).

5.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve immersive stereo sound, you can pair two DOSS SoundBox Ultra speakers together:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (refer to the speaker diagram in the product overview for button location). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the TWS indicator lights on both speakers will become solid.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your DOSS SoundBox Ultra speaker, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speaker's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or other chemical solvents, as these may damage the finish.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To preserve battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in constant use.
• Avoid Water: The speaker is not waterproof. Keep it away from water, moisture, and liquids to prevent damage.
• Handle with Care: Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DOSS SoundBox Ultra speaker, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

7.1 No Power

• Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
• Verify that the charging cable and power adapter are working correctly. Try using a different cable or adapter if available.

7.2 No Sound

• Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device. Increase the volume on both.
• Ensure the speaker is correctly paired via Bluetooth or that the AUX cable is securely connected.
• If using Bluetooth, try disconnecting and re-pairing the device.
• If using a USB drive or TF card, ensure the audio files are not corrupted and are in a compatible format.

7.3 Bluetooth Pairing Issues

• Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
• Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range (up to 30 meters) of the speaker.
• Clear the Bluetooth pairing list on your device and try pairing again.
• Turn off and then turn on both the speaker and your device.
• If attempting TWS pairing, ensure both speakers are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
