4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case.
2. Charging the Case: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The LED indicator will show charging progress.
3. Charging the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into their respective slots in the charging case. Ensure the charging contacts align. The earbuds will automatically begin charging.

A full charge for the earbuds takes approximately 1 hour, and the case also takes about 1 hour. The case provides up to 30 hours of total playback time.

4.2 Pairing with a Device

1. Power On: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and turn on Bluetooth.
3. Select Device: Look for "pTron Bassbuds Eon" in the list of available devices and select it to connect.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Touch Controls

The pTron Bassbuds Eon feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. The functions are as follows:

• Answering/Ending Calls: Single tap either earbud.
• Rejecting Calls: Long press either earbud for 2 seconds.

5.3 Voice Assistant

6.1 Cleaning

• Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Remove eartips and clean them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.

6.3 Water Resistance

The earbuds are IPX4 water-resistant, meaning they can withstand splashes of water and sweat. They are not designed for submersion in water. Avoid exposing them to heavy rain or showering.

7. Troubleshooting

• Earbuds not pairing: Ensure both earbuds are charged. Place them back in the case, close it, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try reconnecting.
• Only one earbud working: Place both earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open it again. This often re-syncs them. If the issue persists, try resetting the earbuds (refer to manufacturer's website for specific reset instructions if not in manual).
• No sound: Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds. Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
• Charging issues: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected and the power source is active. Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case.
