2. Safety Guidelines
Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following guidelines during assembly and use:
- Anchoring: Always ensure the carport is properly anchored to the ground using the provided heavy steel anchor kits. This is especially critical in areas prone to high winds or heavy snowfall. Failure to adequately anchor the structure may result in structural damage, collapse, or personal injury.
- Assembly Personnel: Assembly requires a minimum of two people. Attempting to assemble alone may lead to injury or damage to the product.
- Site Selection: Choose a level, clear area for installation, free from overhead obstructions like power lines or tree branches.
- Weather Conditions: Avoid assembly during strong winds, heavy rain, or snow.
- Component Inspection: Before assembly, inspect all components for damage. Do not proceed with assembly if any parts are significantly damaged. Contact customer support for replacements.
- Snow Accumulation: While designed for anti-snow, heavy snow accumulation should be cleared from the canopy to prevent excessive stress on the frame and cover.

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically requires 2 people and takes approximately 3-5 hours. Follow these general steps for construction:
- Unpack and Organize: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out. Group similar parts together for easier identification.
- Assemble the Base Frame: Connect the base vertical reinforcing crossbeams using the appropriate connectors. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Construct the Arches: Assemble the arched frame sections by connecting the galvanized steel tubes. Utilize the spring button mechanism for secure connections.
- Attach Top Crossbeams: Integrate the 6 top horizontal crossbeams to connect the arched sections, forming the complete frame structure.
- Install the Cover: Drape the triple-layer PE cover over the assembled frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed.
- Secure the Cover: Use the tough nylon ropes, bungee balls, and ratchets to securely tighten the cover to the frame. Ensure the cover is taut to prevent flapping and water pooling.
- Anchor the Carport: Drive the 16 heavy steel anchor kits (ground pegs) firmly into the ground at designated points around the base of the frame. This step is critical for stability.

6. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your carport.
- Cover Cleaning: Clean the PE cover periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes that could damage the material or UV coating.
- Frame Inspection: Regularly check the galvanized steel frame for any signs of rust, bending, or loose connections. Tighten any loose bolts or connections as needed.
- Anchor Verification: Periodically inspect the ground anchors to ensure they remain firmly secured, especially after strong winds or heavy precipitation. Re-secure if necessary.
- Snow Removal: In snowy conditions, gently remove accumulated snow from the canopy using a soft broom or brush to prevent excessive weight and potential damage to the frame.
- UV Protection: The cover provides 90-95% UV protection. While durable, prolonged exposure to intense sunlight over many years may degrade the material.

7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- Carport Instability: If the carport feels unstable, ensure all frame connections are tight and that the 16 heavy steel anchor kits are fully driven into the ground. Re-check anchoring after severe weather.
- Cover Not Fitting Properly: Ensure the frame is assembled correctly according to the instructions. The cover should be stretched taut and secured evenly with ropes, bungee balls, and ratchets. If the cover still does not fit, verify you have the correct size cover for your frame.
- Zipper Malfunction: If a zipper fails, avoid forcing it. Contact K Knowbody customer support for assistance or replacement parts.
- Damaged Parts During Assembly: If any parts are damaged during the assembly process, contact K Knowbody customer support for prompt replacement.
