Pre-Installation Checklist

Before you begin, ensure your door meets the following specifications:

• Door Hole Diameter: 2.12 inches (54mm)
• Backset: 2.36 inches or 2.75 inches (60mm or 70mm)
• Latch Hole Diameter: 1 inch (25mm)
• Door Thickness: Between 1.77 inches and 2.36 inches (45mm to 60mm)

Important: Do not install this product if your door thickness is outside the specified range. If your door lacks pre-drilled holes, additional drilling will be required.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully for a successful installation. A Phillips screwdriver is the only tool required for most standard installations.

1. Prepare the Door: Ensure your door meets the dimensions specified in the Pre-Installation Checklist. Remove any existing deadbolt hardware.
2. Install the Mortise Lock Body: Insert the mortise lock body into the edge of the door. Secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the latch bolt is facing the correct direction for your door swing.
3. Install the Front Panel: Route the data cable from the front panel through the door hole. Align the front panel with the mortise lock body and secure it.
4. Install the Rear Panel: Connect the data cable from the front panel to the rear panel. Align the rear panel with the mortise lock body and secure it with the through-bolts. Ensure the thumb turn operates smoothly.
5. Install Batteries: Open the battery cover on the rear panel and insert 4 AA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Close the battery cover.
6. Test Operation: After installation, test the mechanical key, thumb turn, and keypad to ensure the lock operates correctly before closing the door.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Setup and APP Connection

The smart lock requires initial setup via the dedicated smartphone application. Search for "TTLock" in your app store (iOS/Android) and download it.

1. Download and install the "TTLock" APP.
2. Create an account and log in.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
4. In the APP, tap "Add Lock" and select "Door Lock".
5. Touch the keypad of the smart lock to activate it. The APP will detect the lock.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair and name your lock.

Note: Fingerprints, passwords, and IC cards must be added through the APP settings after successful pairing.

2. Unlocking Methods

• Fingerprint Unlocking:

  Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in less than 1 second if the fingerprint is recognized.

• Digital Passcode Unlocking:

  Enter your registered digital passcode on the keypad, then press the '#' key. For enhanced security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode (Anti-Peeping Password feature).

• APP Unlocking:

  Open the TTLock APP, ensure Bluetooth is enabled, and tap the unlock icon on the main screen when within Bluetooth range of the lock.

• IC Card Unlocking:

  Tap your registered IC card against the designated IC card reader area on the lock's front panel.
• Mechanical Key Unlocking:

  In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the door manually.

3. Locking Methods

• Manual Locking:

  From the inside, turn the thumb turn to lock the deadbolt. From the outside, press the '#' key on the keypad to lock.
• Auto-Lock:

  The lock can be configured via the APP to automatically lock after a set period (e.g., 5 seconds) once the door is closed. This feature enhances security by preventing accidental unlatched doors.

4. User Management (via APP)

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The lock will emit a low battery alert (blinking indicator light) when batteries are low. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly.
• Emergency Charging: If batteries die completely, connect a power bank via the USB Type-C port on the bottom of the front panel for temporary power to unlock the door.
• Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
