Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your high chair:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the parts list.
- Attach Legs: Insert the high chair legs into the designated slots on the main frame. Ensure they click securely into place or are fastened with the provided hardware. Refer to the specific diagrams in your physical manual for correct orientation.
- Install Footrest: Slide the footrest into its attachment points on the leg assembly. Adjust to the desired height (if applicable) and secure.
- Attach Food Tray: Align the food tray with the slots on the high chair's armrests. Slide it on until it locks into position. The tray is designed to be easily removable for cleaning.
- Safety Check: Before first use, ensure all connections are secure and the high chair is stable. Test the 5-point safety harness for proper function.
Operating Instructions
Adjusting High Chair Height
The high chair features two height settings. To adjust, locate the height adjustment mechanism (usually buttons or levers on the legs or frame). Press/release and slide the upper section of the chair to the desired height. Ensure both sides are adjusted evenly and lock into place before use.
Using the Food Tray
- Attaching: Slide the tray onto the armrests until it clicks into place.
- Removing: Locate the release levers or buttons (typically underneath the tray or on the sides) and press them while pulling the tray forward.
- Adjusting: The tray may have multiple positions to accommodate your child's size. Slide the tray forward or backward to the desired position and ensure it locks securely.
- The gap-free tray design helps prevent pinched fingers and food accumulation.
Securing Your Child (5-Point Safety Belt)
- Place your child in the high chair.
- Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their waist.
- Connect the shoulder straps to the waist straps.
- Insert the combined buckles into the crotch buckle until they click securely.
- Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit, leaving no more than one finger's width between the strap and your child.
- To release, press the button on the crotch buckle.
Using as a Booster Seat
To convert the high chair into a booster seat, detach the lower leg assembly. The seat unit can then be placed directly onto a standard dining chair and secured using the chair's own straps (if provided with the booster kit, or as per specific booster seat instructions). Ensure the booster seat is stable and securely fastened to the dining chair before placing your child in it.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Seat Upholstery: The PU leather upholstery is designed for easy cleaning. Wipe spills and stains immediately with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Allow to air dry completely.
- Food Tray: The removable food tray and liner can be washed with warm soapy water or wiped clean with a damp cloth. For thorough cleaning, the tray liner can be removed.
- Frame: Wipe the plastic and stainless steel frame components with a damp cloth.
- Storage: Store the high chair in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all parts for wear, damage, or loose connections. Tighten any loose screws or fasteners. Discontinue use if any part is broken or missing.
