5. Setup

  1. Choose a Suitable Location: Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) on either side and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of the dock. This allows the robot vacuum to easily locate and return to the charging station.
  2. Connect the Power Cable: Insert the power cable into the power input port on the back or side of the charging dock. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Power On: Once connected, the charging dock is ready for use. There may be an indicator light (if present on your model) to confirm it is receiving power.
  4. Place Robot Vacuum: Manually place your compatible Mi Vacuum-Mop 2 robot vacuum onto the charging dock, aligning its charging contacts with those on the dock. The robot vacuum should indicate that it is charging.

6. Operating Instructions

The SteFik Charger Docking Station operates automatically once properly set up.

  • Automatic Charging: When the robot vacuum's battery level is low, it will automatically return to the charging dock to recharge.
  • Manual Charging: You can also manually place the robot vacuum onto the charging dock at any time to initiate charging.
  • Charging Status: Refer to your robot vacuum's display or app for its charging status. The docking station itself typically does not have complex indicators beyond a basic power light.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your charging dock.

  • Cleaning Contacts: Periodically wipe the charging contacts on both the dock and the robot vacuum with a clean, dry cloth. Ensure no power is connected during cleaning.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the charging dock with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly check the power cable for any signs of damage, fraying, or kinks. Replace if necessary.
