Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove plug from wall outlet.

Product Overview

The FineMade 3-in-1 appliance comes with three sets of interchangeable, non-stick cooking plates:

• Waffle Plates: For making crispy and fluffy waffles.
• Sandwich Plates: For preparing sealed sandwiches, ideal for grilled cheese or breakfast sandwiches.
• Grill Plates: For grilling meats, vegetables, or paninis.

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport. Ensure all components, including the main unit, three sets of plates, and any included cleaning tools, are present.

2. First Use Cleaning

Before using the appliance for the first time, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash all removable cooking plates with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

3. Attaching/Detaching Plates

To attach a set of plates:

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
2. Align the tabs on the back of the desired cooking plate with the slots on the heating element.
3. Gently press the plate down until it clicks securely into place. Repeat for the second plate.

To detach a set of plates:

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool.
2. Locate the release tabs (usually small levers or buttons) near the plate attachment points.
3. Press the release tabs and lift the plate upwards to remove it.

Operating Instructions

1. Preheating

Before cooking, ensure the desired plates are securely installed. Close the lid and plug the appliance into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The red indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the appliance is preheating. Once the appliance reaches the optimal cooking temperature, the green indicator light will illuminate, indicating it is ready for use. This typically takes about 5 minutes.

2. Cooking

Once the green light indicates readiness, open the lid and place your food onto the bottom cooking plate. Close the lid gently. Cooking times will vary depending on the food type and desired doneness. Monitor the food periodically to prevent overcooking.

• For Waffles: Pour batter evenly onto the waffle plates. Close the lid. Cook until golden brown and crispy (typically 3-5 minutes).
• For Sandwiches: Place bread and fillings onto the sandwich plates. Close the lid. Cook until bread is golden brown and fillings are heated through (typically 2-5 minutes).
• For Grilling: Place meat or vegetables onto the grill plates. Close the lid. Cook until desired doneness, flipping if necessary for even grilling.

The appliance operates at a fixed temperature of 1200W for rapid and uniform cooking. There is no adjustable temperature control.

Care and Cleaning

Proper care and cleaning will extend the life of your FineMade appliance.

• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• The removable cooking plates are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. Alternatively, they can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
• The non-stick coating on the plates prevents food from sticking, simplifying cleanup. Avoid using metal utensils or abrasive cleaners that could damage the non-stick surface.
• Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
• Ensure all parts are dry before storing the appliance.

Troubleshooting

• Appliance not heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the red indicator light is on. If not, try a different outlet.
• Food sticking to plates: Ensure plates are clean and lightly greased before adding food, even with non-stick coating. Avoid using metal utensils that can scratch the non-stick surface.
• Uneven cooking: Ensure plates are properly installed and clicked into place. Allow the appliance to fully preheat until the green indicator light illuminates.
