Battery Replacement
When the alarm unit's sound becomes weak or the indicator light does not illuminate, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
For optimal performance, use high-quality AAA alkaline batteries.
Troubleshooting
- Alarm not sounding/Remote not working:
- Check if batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted.
- Ensure the sensor switch is in the "ON" position.
- Verify that the remote control is properly paired with the alarm unit (refer to "Pairing a Remote Control" section).
- Ensure the main alarm unit and magnetic sensor are within the specified gap (less than 0.59 inches / 1.5 cm) when the door/window is closed.
- False alarms:
- Check the alignment of the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor. They should be perfectly aligned.
- Ensure the installation surface is stable and not subject to vibrations that might cause the units to momentarily separate.
- Adhesion issues:
- Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth before applying the 3M adhesive.
- Apply firm pressure for several seconds when attaching the units.
- If the adhesive fails, replace it with new strong double-sided adhesive tape.

- Turn the sensor switch to the "ON" position.
