9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Unit Not Turning On
Solution: Ensure the unit is charged. If not, connect it to a power source using the USB charging cable and charge it fully.
9.2 Vehicle Not Starting
Solutions:
- Check all cable connections. Ensure the smart clamps are securely attached to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
- Observe the smart clamp indicator light. If it shows red or flashes, refer to the smart clamp's specific error indications (usually detailed on the clamp itself or in the manual).
- The vehicle battery might be severely damaged or completely dead, requiring professional assistance.
- Ensure the jump starter has sufficient charge (above 50%).
9.3 Smart Clamp Indicator Shows Red/Flashing
Solution: This typically indicates an incorrect connection, reverse polarity, or another safety issue. Disconnect the clamps, re-read the jump-starting instructions carefully, and reconnect them ensuring correct polarity and a secure connection. If the issue persists, the vehicle battery may have an internal fault.
